King of the Mountain 2
Hero-collector prototype with a ~17-hero roster of individually rendered 3D characters.

King of the Mountain 2 was a hero-collector concept built at Zadzen Games: players would gather a roster of around 17 fantasy and creature heroes (Amazonka, Anubis, Arachne, Assassin, Dragon, Golem, Jinn, Magic Girl, Minotaur, Ninja, Orc, Panda, Raccoon, Skeleton, Snake, Spider, Valkyrie and others) for turn-based or arena-style battles, framed around loot-chest style rewards (wood/silver chest art).
Only art, animation and reference assets survive from this project (character models, textures, bone-rig timing files, location concepts, and UI mockups) -- there is no evidence of a Unity project, build, or store listing, so this reads as internal concept/prototype work that did not ship.
My role
Team
Platforms
- Mobile
Stack
- 3D character animation pipeline (FBX/bone rigs)
Solo developer
What I did
- 01Integrated hero character art and bone-based 2D/3D animation exports into the game's character system
- 02Built core UI/UX screens (victory screen, hero selection, battle HUD elements) from the delivered art assets
- 03Implemented the loot-chest reward loop (wood/silver chest assets) as part of the core game loop
- 04Worked from a multi-contributor art pipeline, coordinating hero assets produced by several artists on the team
What stands out
- 01Roster of roughly 17 individually modeled and rendered heroes, each with its own render pass and animation timing file
- 02Loot-chest economy assets (wood and silver chests) built out alongside the hero roster
- 03Project appears to be unshipped internal prototype work -- no build, store listing, or shipped-project evidence found
